The story tells of a young woman who dreams of a dazzling career as a swing singer on Broadway and longs for happiness and recognition. But Stella is Jewish and lives in Nazi Berlin. Erz\u00e4hlt wird die Geschichte einer jungen Frau, die von einer strahlenden Karriere als Swing-S\u00e4ngerin am Broadway tr\u00e4umt, sich nach Gl\u00fcck und Anerkennung sehnt. Doch Stella ist J\u00fcdin und lebt im nationalsozialistischen Berlin. Nachdem sie zusammen mit ihren Eltern untertauchen muss, steigt sie in eine F\u00e4lscher-Gruppe ein, um ihr Leben und das ihrer Eltern zu retten.
