We Are Storytellers

We tell stories audiences can delve into and get completely absorbed in. Stories to dream, cheer, laugh and cry. Stories that enchant and captivate, that move us to tears and entertain. But as much as we like to dive into other worlds, a good story always shows us the reality in a new light. They provide the space to gain new insights and find universal truths. Great stories tell us something about the many facets of human interaction.

We tell stories that are relatable due to their connection to people’s lives. Yet these cinematic narratives allow us to travel to other universes and different times, thereby enabling us to better understand ourselves and our worlds. For us the power of storytelling lies between the poles of realism and escapism.

Amalia Film GmbH produces high-end feature films and television content for linear and digital distribution. It is a subsidiary of Studio Hamburg Production Group GmbH, based in the heart of Munich. The managing partners are Jean-Young Kwak and Felix von Poser.
